Being muscular equates to being more alpha than everyone in the room. Being more alpha is a feeling that every man should be able to tap into and experience as it gives us men a different kind of confidence which is essential in this day and age. Now in order to look more muscular you will definitely require to take care of your body by eating right and working out regularly but as this is not a fitness blog I will not dive deep into this and instead will give you 5 tips to help you look more muscular by just making a few changes in the clothes you wear.

Tip #1: Wear the right size:

I cannot stress more on this point on how important it is to wear the right size when it comes to clothing. A right fitted shirt or T-shirt makes you look bigger than you already are and also helps you look amazingly sexy. Now you must be wondering “How do I find the right size?” it’s simple!   1. The T-shirt should be snug and fit around the chest area and a bit free around your torso/hip area. Do not buy a T-shirt that is too tight making you look like a sausage and a try hard.
  2. The sleeves should be well fitted and should hug your arm.
  3. Also the sleeves should only cover half of your triceps as a longer sleeve will make your arm look skinny so to make those guns look big make sure the sleeve is just long enough that it covers only half of the triceps.
  4. Similarly for shirts the sleeves shouldn’t be longer that your arm so it does not puff up. Also the sleeve should be fitted according to your arm. The shirt should be fitted around your chest and shoulder areas. I would suggest you get your shirts tailored to get maximum fit or just find a brand whose shirts fit you perfectly.

Wear well fitted lighter colored T-shirts. Black tends to give an illusion of slimming one down whereas lighter colors makes you look beefed up and bigger. So go for those whites, off-white, light blues etc. as they will help you look big, buff and brilliant.

V-necks and Henley’s make you look wider. In order to look muscular there is one simple rule that you should have broader shoulders and a wide frame. V-neck/Henley T-shirts gives that illusion of the wearer being wider than he really is. Pro tip is to open up the first two buttons excluding the collar button in shirts as well because it also gives away the same illusion.

Tip #4: Tapered bottom wear:

Wear dark colored tapered denims/trousers and it will give an illusion of you having a V shaped body which automatically makes you look more buff and muscular. Make sure the bottoms are slim through the thigh and tapered along the ankle. This will also make you taller than you usually are, so that’s an added bonus. Let the cut and color of your denims/trousers do the work for you.

Tip #5: Layer to look more muscular:

Pullover sweaters or bomber jackets are perfect additions to your wardrobe as the thicker fabric on the sweater make you look muscular. Preferably a V-neck sweater will make you look like a bad-ass. Bomber jackets are just one of those pieces of clothing which are completely a no brainer as they are a bit puffy which make you look more beefed up.

 

Follow these tips to make yourself look more muscular but at the end of the day you will have to hit the gym in order to be muscular and on top of that if you do the above said things there is no one stopping you from being the absolute alpha of the room and being the center of attention
